Reflex provides a powerful reporting system that helps you monitor students’ usage, track their progress, and reward their achievements. There are two kinds of reports:
- Individual Reports that provide detail on an individual student
- Groups Reports that provide summary data on a class
To access Individual Reports, click the Reports button at the top of the Reflex Dashboard. Five reports are available from the Report drop-down menu on the Individual Reports tab: School Year Overview, Fact Detail, Milestones, Usage Detail, and Fluency Growth.
School Year Overview
The School Year overview report provides a “fluency meter” that shows how far along students are on the path to fluency. You can also view all milestone and low-usage alerts here.
The Fact Detail report shows which facts a student knows and doesn’t know. This report is available in both a fact family pyramid and a traditional “fact grid” format. Arrows at the top left allow you to change the date and see how a student’s fluency has changed over time.
The Milestones report shows an individual student’s milestones (such as total facts solved). Each milestone can be printed as a certificate. All milestones are calculated from the beginning of the school year only. Milestone reports for groups, such as classes, are available in Group Reports.
The Usage Detail report displays the date, duration and Green Light status of a student’s Reflex session. Multiple Reflex sessions performed on the same day are represented on the screen by bars of differing colors. Mouse over a bar to display a tooltip with the data.
The Fluency Growth report provides at a-glance visual representation of a student’s progress towards fluency during a given date range. The graph shows the number of fluent facts gained or the total number of fluent facts over time. You can also superimpose usage data on the fluency data. The graph is available as a line chart, bar graph, pie chart, or histogram.
Individual reports are shown for the current school year only. Additional filtering is available for reports. See Filtering Reports for more details. You can print reports by clicking the Print button at the top right of the report.
